Breno de Carvalho Monteiro is a criminal lawyer with a degree in Law from Cândido Mendes University (UCAM) and holds a graduate degree in Criminal Law and Criminology from the Institute of Criminology and Criminal Policy (Instituto de Criminologia e Política Criminal – ICPC).
Monteiro was the speaker of the study “Weimar no Sistema Germânico e a Judicialização dos Direitos no Brasil” (Weimar in the Germanic System and the Judicialization of Rights in Brazil) at the III International Seminar on Fundamental Human Rights held by the Graduate Program in Constitutional Law of the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro State (Universidade Federal Fluminense – PPGDC/UFF). He is the author of legal articles in the areas of Constitutional Law, Criminal Law and Criminology.
